This large industrial vacuum is ideal for large pond owners and pond maintenance companies where high volume use is needed. The large suction hose helps to remove oversized debris like algae and decaying leaves.
Stainless steel, 15 gallon tank, 6.5 HP Motor!
• Removes dirt particles up to 3/8" such as algae, string algae, sludge, dead vegetation and pieces of leaves from the pond.
• Can be used in manual or automatic mode. Manual mode vacuums until tank is full then must be shut off to drain. Automatic mode is a timed mode that will vacuum for 20 seconds, shut off and drain for 40 seconds then restart again automatically for another 20 seconds, etc.
• 2" diameter x 15' long suction hose allows larger solids to be vacuumed up
• 5' discharge hose and several hose ends included

A "must have" for pond maintenance companies!
Operation
You may choose between two modes of operation. One is Manual operation. This mode allows the vacuum to suck until the tank is full. A distinct change in motor sound will occur when tank is full. You will need to manually turn off the unit and allow it to drain before restarting. The other option is Auto mode. In this setting a timer will run the vacuum for approx. 20 seconds of suction and then turn the motor off for approximately. 40 seconds allowing it to drain. This cycle will repeat until you turn it off. To prime when first turned on the suction hose must be below the intake port on the side of the tank. If the handle is held higher than the inlet priming is very slow.
Once suction has started the handle can be lifted higher than inlet.
For safety reasons you should lock the brakes on the front wheels when in use. This prevents the vacuum from rolling when the suction hose is pulled on and possibly tipping over into pond. ALWAYS use a GFI grounded outlet when operating electric motors near water!
