| The All New Eazy – that is the solids removal chamber, has been redesigned from the bottom up. It is bigger, allowing for better flow of water through the static K1. This means that the Nexus removes more of the suspended solids, and is even better at producing the clarity demanded by the koi keeper!! The one way valve that is now attached to the outlet of the Eazy, has made cleaning easier, taking away the need to have the black pipe bung as in previous models. The improved water flow also means more efficient cleaning of the Static K1. The Eazy is now covered by a clear lid, this ensures that the precise amount of K1 media is always present with the Eazy chamber, and none can escape. |

If the Nexus owner had to make any compromise in the past, it was that in times of heavy feeding, or perhaps if blanket weed was being removed, then the Eazy could fill up with debris, and water could overflow the filter, or potentially starve the pump. |
Nexus 310 and Nexus 210 owners no longer have to Compromise!!!! In pump fed operation, the Nexus has an Overflow and in gravity fed operation, a Bypass, which mean that if you need to leave the filter for longer than you normally would in between cleaning then the water can now bypass or overflow out of the filter and back into your pond. The filter will continue to work as normal, but the excess water will bypass/overflow back into the pond |

How the Nexus works:
- Water enters the central vortex, where heavy solids simply settle to the bottom of the vortex.
- Water then travels through static Kaldnes media, which is retained in a stainless steel basket.
- This process has been proven to trap incredibly small particles of waste.
Nexus Eazy System are complete units and include:
- Nexus Body
- Eazy Central Vortex
- Air backwash Line
- Air Diverter Valve
- Unionized Ball Valves to Waste
- Kaldnes media for both the Eazy (static Kaldnes) and the bio-reactor (fluidized Kaldnes)

The Nexus 200 Eazy and Nexus 300 are the same system in 2 sizes for different pond volumes.

.CLEANING THE NEXUS FILTERS:
- (1) Turn off the pump
- (2) Insert the slid plate in the intake port
- (3) Insert the stand pipe in the central shaft
- (4) Open the air line to the central vortex (the Eazy)
- (5) Boil the Kaldnes for a minute or two
- (6) Open the central vortex drain valve, and dump out the crap.
- (7) Once the central vortex is empty, remove the slide plate to purge the main 4" line
- (8) After a few seconds, close the drain valve on the central vortex.
- (9) Remove the stand pipe in the central shaft
- (10) Turn the pump back on

Nexus Options
Increase the biocapacity of your Nexus system by adding more Kaldness Media.
Kaldnes moving bed process creates an oxygen rich enviroment, with an even distribution of water
throughout the media, thus avoiding dead areas normally associated with static type media. Sol in 50 litre bags.
Nexus Exit Path Retro Kits
Bring your existing gravity fed Nexus/Answer combination up to current specifications by retroftting the new EA fines polisher and air backwash kit This retro kit installs in the current oulet port of the Nexus. After passing through the fluidized section of the Nexus, water then transfers through the full metal plate rising over a weir plate into a fine polisher which contains static Kaldnes media, thereby trapping any remaining fine solids. This retro kit dramitically improves water clarity. Cleaning the static Kaldness is a simple matter of diverting air from the bio-stage using the included valve to agitate the media, then purging this waste as normal.
