ProForm-C is the preeminent broad spectrum malachite green & formalin treatment. It is formulated differently than any other malachite green & formalin mix. Malachite green and formalin are two drugs that are more effective in combination than if used individually. This is the definition of synergism. These two drugs are also less toxic in combination than if used individually, What makes ProForm-C the preeminent product in this field is the fact it is formulated with malachite green chloride, while all other MG&F products use the oxalate salt form which is more toxic than the chloride form. As with any malachite green & formalin treatment do NOT use with salt levels above 0.05%.

 The safest and most effective treatment for the control of disease  caused by Ichthyophthirius [ICH], costia, trichodina, Chilodonella,  oodinium and fungal infections.  Treatment is daily for a total of 3 days. This usually stops  all external protozoan and fungal diseases.

Dosages

2.5 oz. per 1,000 Gallons.

Day 1

Add Proform C 2.5 oz. per 1,000 Gallons to Pond [Read the Bottle for all Instructions]

Day 2

20% to 25% or more Water Change. Fill pond back up and dechlorinate. Add the next dosage of 2.5 oz. per 1,000 Gallons.

Day 3

20% to 25% or more Water Change. Fill pond back up and dechlorinate. Add the next dosage of 2.5 oz. per 1,000 Gallons. If you are also using a fluke treatment to the pond of prazi now would be the time to mix the proform c treatment to the prazi now. NO WATER CHANGES FOR 7 DAYS.

WAITE 4 TO 5 DAYS

If you are just using the proform c then after 4 to 5 days Repeat the 3 day treatment again.

REASON:

Proform C does not kill the eggs of the parasite. That is what you want to take into account the water temperature and the hatch rate for the parasites and try to guess the best yhou can as to when the eggs would hatch and kill the new hatched parasites before they can lay eggs again.
